About the Event

Jeremy has written three novels. Salt is set in North Norfolk and the fens near the Wash; The Wake is located in the estuaries of East Anglia and The Collector of Lost Things is the story of a man travelling to the Arctic in 1845, trying to find evidence of a bird that became extinct a year before. Jeremy is a scriptwriter and editor for the BBC, Channel 4 and Film Four. He has taught Creative Writing at UEA, City and for Arvon.

New York to California (November 2019) is ‘a personal journey across the East Anglian landscape, looking for the not quite visible, beginning in the abstract geometry of the Lincolnshire fens, and tracing a route through Norfolk to the North Sea coast.’ Written as narrative non-fiction and illustrated with photographs, it follows the route Jeremy’s family took across this landscape. It is a book rooted in region, but universal in its connections with stories and landscape. http://www.jeremypage.co.uk/Site/home.html
