Matt Gaw is a writer and freelance journalist. His first book is The Pull of the River: A Journey into the Wild and Watery Heart of Britain.

Matt currently writes a monthly country diary for the Suffolk Magazine and his writing was recently published in Autumn and Winter, a seasonal anthology edited by Melissa Harrison and published by Elliott & Thompson and the Wildlife Trusts. His journalism has been published in national and regional titles, including The Guardian, The Times and The Telegraph.
