Ashley Hickson-Lovence is a novelist, poet, literary critic, reviewer and Lecturer. He has a doctorate in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of East Anglia. Ashley has taught for First Story, Arvon and Faber Academy and has lectured in English and Creative Writing at Brunel University, Arts University Bournemouth, University of East Anglia and the University of Suffolk. His debut novel is The 392 (2019), recently adapted for the London stage. His second novel Your Show (2022) is based on the life of Black football referee, Uriah Rennie. His latest publications are Wild East (2024) and Why I am Not a Bus Driver (2025). We really look forward to hearing about his new novel, About to Fall Apart (2026).
