‘A haunting, lyrical novel . . . Everyone should read it’ – Louise Kennedy

Amy Abdelnoor is a British Arab writer and secondary school English teacher. She is a member of Critical Collective, a woman’s group advocating against racism and crimes against humanity. While studying English and Arabic at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, Amy reconnected with her Arab family roots. She lived in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon and later under Israeli military occupation in the West Bank during the second intifada. Ever Land, her evocative debut, hailed 'remarkable' by Elif Shafak, was inspired and shaped by these personal experiences. The novel interweaves the stories of two women’s lives in modern Palestine. Ever Land was shortlisted for the 2023 Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize and published in 2026.
